Turning to Jesus can sometimes lead people, including friends and family, to distance themselves or even turn away. This is a natural side effect of committing to Christ, as Jesus himself mentioned that following Him may lead to division. Instead of being discouraged, we can find purpose in this experience, recognizing it as a sign of us belonging to Jesus. We can actually rejoice in any conflict that arises from our faith and respond with love and kindness towards those who pull away.
